Once again the PTA is excited to bring International Day to the children of Barksdale this February. International Day is a day set aside to learn an appreciation for cultures and countries in a “hands on” way. This day will include lots of fun activities, an assembly, and the popular Parade of Nations.

Barksdale PTA Presents a Brown Bag Lunch Featuring PACE Specialist Laurie Kane in the Barksdale library on Thursday, February 7, from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Mrs. Kane will talk about PISD’s TAG program, what PACE is like at Barksdale, the identification of gifted students and the testing process. The referral deadline for 1st to 5th grade students is February 29, 2008. Come and ask all your questions!
