Don’t forget our Spirit Night is on Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at Chick-fil-A. Some lucky Broncos will win prizes in our random drawings. Be sure to put your name(s) with your homeroom teacher(s) name on the back of your receipt. You can participate by either going through the Drive-Thru or inside Chick-fil-A.
Moms and Dads: Don’t cook dinner. Come and join other Barksdale families for a night of no cooking and lots of socializing at Chick-fil-A. See you there!

Barksdale PTA Presents a Brown Bag Lunch Featuring…Barksdale Nurse Pennye Murphy
“My Growing Body” for 4th Grade Girls and 5th Grade Girls and Boys
Please join us in the Barksdale library on Thursday, March 6, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., for a brown bag lunch with Pennye Murphy, Barksdale Nurse.
Each April Nurse Pennye talks to the 4th grade girls and 5th grade girls and boys (with Coach Ledsome) about their growing bodies. She shows them a film about the topic and then answers their questions.
Parents of these students are invited to come watch the film and get a preview of Nurse Pennye’s presentation. If you have any questions or concerns, Nurse Pennye will be glad to address them at this meeting.
