Friendship Week: Wear your sports team jersey or Barksdale Spirit Wear
Val-O-Grams will be sold today through Thursday from 7:30 - 7:45 a.m. in the front entry of the school and near the library. They are $.25 each or 5 for $1.00. They will be delivered to the recipient’s classroom on Valentine’s Day.
NO SPANISH PROGRAM THIS WEEK. The normal schedule will resume next week. Please remember that your child must bring a note every week in order to attend Spanish after school. If they do not bring a note, they will not be allowed to attend. They will be sent to the office and a parent will be contacted to come pick them up.
3rd-5th Grade Book Club – in the library from 2:45 - 3:45 p.m. Please send a note for the teacher and a snack for your child.
5th Grade Parents Meeting at Renner: 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

Special Person Donut Day – 7:00 - 7:30 a.m. in the cafeteria (enter through the gym doors). Please invite a special person (Dad, Uncle, Grandfather or friend) to enjoy milk and donuts with your child to celebrate Friendship Week.
Friendship Parties
- 1st Grade: 12:30 - 1:30 p.m.
- KN, 2nd-5th: 1:30 - 2:30 p.m.
- Please join your child in his classroom to celebrate this special day. Valentines will be distributed to classmates. Contact your homeroom parent if you are interested in volunteering.
