- Kindergarten Round-up at Barksdale, 9:00am-11:00am & 1:00pm-3:00pm. This is a come and go registration for children entering Kindergarten in the 2008-2009 school year.
Friday, April 4:
- Spirit Day
- Report cards go home with 3-5th grade students
~ NEWSLETTER CORRECTION: Please note that the Bronco Press deadline for 3rd graders has changed. IT IS NOT APRIL 11! Due to TAKS testing at the end of April, the deadline has been moved to May. Students will be allowed class time to complete this project. Sorry for any confusion.
~ FREE FINAL MILE MEDAL CELEBRATION FOR MARATHON KIDS!
- When: Saturday, April 12, 2008, 10:00 a.m.
- Who: Marathon Kids® (must be registered), teachers and families. NO PETS, coolers, or glass containers
- Why: Celebrate the official finale of Marathon Kids®! Receive your Marathon Kids® Finisher Medal!
- Where: DISD Loos Stadium, Addison. 3815 Spring Valley Road, Addison, TX
- Fee: Free! Sponsored by Whole Foods Market®
Each child who crosses the finish line will receive a Marathon Kids Finisher Medal.
Parents/Guardians or Teachers MUST run or walk with kindergarten, first-grade, and second grade children. No pets allowed in the stadium. Only registered children at the event will receive a medal. The Final Mile Medal Celebration is NOT mandatory.
