- Book Club for 3rd – 5th Grades, 2:45 – 3:45 p.m. in the library. Please send a snack for your child and a note for his teacher.
Tuesday, April 15:
- PTA Board Meeting, 9:30 a.m. at Kroger
- PTA Spanish Program, 2:45 – 4:00 p.m. in the library. Please send a snack for your child and a note for his teacher.
- 5th Grade Choir Concert, 7:00 p.m. in the gym.

- Spirit Day

~ Book Fair is next week – April 21 – 25.
~ Grandparents Day is Friday, April 25.
~ Field Day is Friday, May 16th and We need Field Day Volunteers!
This is a great day for moms and dads to spend the day with the kids at Barksdale. If you are interested in helping out, the shifts are listed below. Please contact Kelly Boyd, Field Day Chairman by email or by calling (972) 473-2379.
- Kindergarten Volunteers: 7:15 - 11:15 a.m. (includes set up, games, and clean up)
- 1st-5th Grade Volunteers:
- All day 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (includes set up, games, lunch provided, and clean up)
- AM only 8:00 - 11:00 a.m. (includes set up, games, lunch on their own)
- PM only 11:45 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (games, clean up)
