• First Day of School - Students must be IN their seats at 7:45 am and all parents should be leaving the classrooms by that time.
• PLEASE return these forms to your students’ teachers this morning or as soon as possible. (All forms were in students’ packets)
  • Green sheet entitled “2:45 p.m. DISMISSAL PROCEDURES” (Monday dismissal plans)
  • Pages 41 and 43 from PISD booklet The Big Picture: 2008-09 Policy Handbook
  • Free and Reduced Meals Family Application (if applying)
• PTA Welcome Back Coffee and General Meeting at 7:45 a.m. in the cafeteria

Tuesday, August 26

• Starting today, ALL volunteers and visitors to Barksdale MUST first report to the front office upon arrival and present a valid driver’s license to receive a nametag and be cleared to be in the school. This is a Plano ISD policy for all district campuses and facilities.
• Parent Information Night and PTA Reception in Gym and Library
  • 4th Grade Information from 5:45 – 6:45 p.m. and Reception from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
  • 5th Grade Reception from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. and Information from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.

• Make sure you have filled out and turned in your pink Volunteer Finder Sheet.
• Deadline for school supply orders through the PTA.
