Barksdale Library Needs You!
Do you have some time to spare? We’d love to have you volunteer in the library.
The duties include: Help students check out books; Shelve books; and Assist library staff with special projects.
We will do our best to schedule your volunteer time during your child’s class time in the library. You must have PISD volunteer clearance completed to be able to volunteer. A formal orientation for NEW library volunteers is scheduled for Wednesday, September 12, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the library.
