International Day Is Coming on February 22!
Once again the PTA is excited to bring International Day to the children of Barksdale this February. International Day is a day set aside to learn an appreciation for cultures and countries in a “hands on” way. This day will include lots of fun activities, an assembly, and the popular Parade of Nations.
- Morning assembly: The Parade of Nations begins at 8:15 a.m. with more then 70 children representing 28 countries.
- Afternoon assembly begins at 1:15 p.m. where we will be learning more about Ireland and China. Each country will have a performance highlighting the beauty and mystic of each country.
